A new year at Atmos Totnes and it is already busy busy!
At the moment an expanded Project Team made up of people from across Totnes are working intensively. They are exploring different elements that will form the development brief for Atmos Totnes and a firmer vision for the site. Essentially this group is working with the memories and ideas contributed by the community before Christmas. Additionally they have been using technical information about the Dairy Crest site and Totnes as a whole.
On 30/31 January we would like to share with you what has been explored, the creative and focused process being used and where we are at this point. Your feedback is vital to help frame the next part of this work. This is also a chance to celebrate the thousands of contributions made by you and this community during the first phase of the consultation.
Tell your friends, bring your neighbours and talk to your family about these drop-in sessions. All welcome: Friday 30th January (4 – 7pm) and Saturday 31st January (10 – 4pm).
So, see you later this month for a drop-in sessions to help move this exciting project forward. Wrap up warm until then!
P.S. “What is the ‘development brief – this thing being produced for Atmos Totnes” I hear you say?
The development brief for the site is the document which will be used by the architects to design the site. It will be prepared by the Totnes Community Development Society and will be complete by the beginning of February. It is being produced, in part, through the workshops currently underway. The feedback session on 30/31st (see above) will help shape it too, as well as the thousands of ideas, drawings and visions given by the community of Totnes before Christmas.
