The Plymouth and South West Devon Joint Local Plan is adopted by South Hams District Council on 21 March 2019. This sets out that development of the former Dairy Crest site must be in accordance with the provisions in the Community Right to Build Order (CRtBO), including appropriate flood risk mitigation measures (including improvements to the leat to protect existing development downstream), remediation of contaminated land and habitat enhancement; with sensitive and high quality design which integrates with the existing area and the setting of nearby heritage assets.
