It has been able to reach this stage thanks to the amazing level of hard and comprehensive work of Dave Chapman and Anna Lodge. Dave is the only remaining member from the initial days of the formation of the ‘Sustainable Business Park Group’ in 2007 involved in the work to progress development on the site for the benefit of the community. Where we are now is in large part due to both of their incredible dedicated work. We all owe them a huge debt of gratitude.
Having secured planning permission for Atmos Totnes, £2.5 million of Lottery funding for the redevelopment of the Brunel Building, and laid the foundations for the regeneration of The Mansion, they have decided to step down to make space for new energy to take the projects forward to its next stage.
Everyone involved with TCDS would like to thank them for their incredible dedication, service and friendship, and wish them well in their future endeavours. Current Directors Frances Northrop and Rob Hopkins have been joined by Pat Shepherd and are in the process of creating a new board of skilled and focused Directors in order to take both projects through to their delivery stage.
