The newly-formed Atmos for Totnes campaign begins holding regular stalls in the town to update the community on Atmos and on their campaign, and red hearts asking ‘What Happened?’ start to appear in windows across town.
Devon Live run a story entitled ‘Anger as Totnes dairy plant sold to private firm’ which sets out all that is known at that point about the sale of the site to Fastglobe and how it came about. This captures the outrage of local people and local elected officials about the situation. This is also reported by the BBC, as news of the sale becomes public.
The Mansion, on Fore Street, Totnes, also managed by Totnes Community Development Society, re-opens after much of the building having to close due to Covid. When it reopens just 20% of the space is in use, mainly the nursery and library, and work begins to breathe new life into this beloved community hub.
