TCDS celebrate that the Mansion site available spaces are now fully let at 100% occupancy. The community building and site managed by TCDS and Mansion Volunteers is host to a wide range of entities supporting activities in our community.

National Lottery Heritage Fund agree to hold offer of grant open until ownership of site is resolved.

The Trustees of the National Lottery Heritage Fund meet to review the £2.57 million grant they have been holding for TCDS to renovate the Brunel Building since it was first awarded in December 2019. Writing to communicate the extension, they wrote “I am pleased to let you know that our Committee have agreed to hold the offer of grant open until the ownership of the site is resolved."

Many people attend. 62 model houses are placed on the fence to represent the 62 truly affordable homes Fastglobe are denying the people of Totnes, and 732 tags are tied to the fence, each one representing a ‘wasted day’. Neighbourhood Plan Consultation

The consultation on including a policy relating to the former Dairy Crest site in the Totnes Neighbourhood Plan closes. It attracts 177 comments from the public and 10 from statutory bodies. All are positive and supportive of Atmos Totnes, apart from one written by PCL Planning, “on behalf of Fastglobe”. In their statement, the Environment Agency write: “In order for new development to be permitted it will need to satisfy both parts of the Exception Test. [...]
