Totnes Community Development Society Update

Atmos Totnes Project architects have been updating designs for the Brunel Building. These show detail on meeting, performance and other spaces for local people, community enterprises and organisations,  and are based on the brief provided by Totnes people in 2014 and 2015 during a whole range of consultation sessions, and leading to the Community Right to Build Order for the scheme. Lottery give go ahead for redevelopment of Brunel Building

An application for a £2.9 million National Lottery grant for redevelopment of the Brunel Building at Atmos Totnes has been accepted by Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). Totnes Community Development Society (TCDS) have now been awarded an initial development Heritage Enterprise grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) of £199,000 to finish the pre-development work on the Brunel Building. Atmos Totnes Community Right to Build Order is Made

The Community Right to Build Order for Atmos Totnes was made by South Hams District Council on the 1st of March. This is following the referendum on the Order which took place on 23rd November 2016. At that referendum 85.69% of those voting in the local community voted ‘yes’ on if the Order should be granted planning permission.
